Negombo / Habarana / Pollonnaruwa/ Minneriya / Sigiriya / Kandy / Kithulgala / Nuwaraeliya / Ella / Yala / Mirissa / Galle / Bentota
After breakfast leave for Habarana , Go on a Catamaran ride + Cart ride + visit a traditional Sri Lankan farmers cultivation & his mud hut. Commencing with a Tuk Tuk ride to the lake bund, there after you will be taking a catamaran ride through a lake full of lotus flowers, water lilies with the surrounding mountains in the background, thereafter you will be arriving at the next bank of the lake where you will be visiting the villager’shome. There after you will be taking a Bullock cart ride to come back to the point of commencement, on the way visiting paddy fields, vegetable plots of villagers.
After which proceed for Kandy. En-route visit a spice garden. Optional lunch. Visit the Kandy temple in the evening.
After breakfast leave for Yala. Optional Lunch at Tissamaharama. After lunch visit Yala national park in Jeeps. Yala National Park: The most popular national park in Sri Lanka. Established in 1938 with a land area of approx 121000 ha. This park is situated in the Hambantota and Monaragala district. It is home for almost all the animals and birds that are found in Sri Lanka.
After breakfast depart for Galle. Visit the Galle fort and popular tourist attractions. Optional lunch at Galle or similar. “The earliest recorded history of the city dates back to the year 545 AD, to the chronicles of the Roman historian, Cosmas. From then on records are very sparse – until the landing of the famous Arab navigator Ibn Batuta. Over the next 100 years, the city was the chief port of the island, for it attracted spice traders. The Portuguese came to Galle in 1505, followed by the Dutch in 1640. When Colombo fell to the British in 1796, the fort was handed over & used as an administrative center, a function which it performs to this day”.
