Upon arrival at the Katunayaka airport, you will be greeted and met by one of our friendly chauffeur guides. You will then be transferred to the hotel to refresh and relax.

After breakfast leave to visit Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela and proceed to Habarana. Relax in pool.

After breakfast visit Polonnaruwa ancient city “Polonnaruwa was the capital of Sri Lanka from the 11th to the 13th century AD. This ancient city is today one of the most beautiful centres of this island’s cultural heritage. In its prime, the city, inside it’s 3½ miles strong encircling walls, housed hundreds of thousands of people. The remains of this ancient city comprised of many buildings and irrigation works. The buildings, mainly brick structures, included the inner city area (with two palace complexes of two different kings), inner & outer city walls, a number of monastic complexes with stupas, image houses & dwelling cells of monks. Also contained were refectories, assembly halls (chapter house, bathing pond etc.
There after go on a safari at Minneriya national park in the afternoon.
After breakfast Go on a Catamaran ride +Cart ride + visit a traditional Sri Lankan farmer’s cultivation & his mud hut. Commencing with a TukTuk ride to the lake bund, there after you will be taking a catamaran ride through a lake full of lotus flowers, water lilies with the surrounding mountains in the background ,Thereafter you will be arriving at the next bank of the lake where you will be visiting the villagers home .There after you will be taking a Bullock cart ride to come back to the point of commencement ,on the way visiting paddy fields, vegetable plots of villagers.

After breakfast visit to Sigiriya Rock Fortress. . Sigiriya: This rock of the 5th century AD was a monastery before King Kasyapa built his kingdom. Better known, as the “Lion Rock” is a Citadel rising up to 560ft from the surrounding area. The popular frescoes of the maidens of heaven are found in the caves of this rock. Kandy: (1815-1948) The last and most popular kingdom in the history of Sri Lanka. The British army captured Kandy in 1815 and ruled for almost 133years before the independence of Sri Lanka in 1948.

After which proceed for Kandy. En-route visit a spice garden. Optional lunch. Visit the Kandy temple in the evening,
Proceed to Nuwara Eliya en-route visit a tea factory. Optional Lunch at Nuwara Eliya. Evening visit the Hakgala botanical gardens. “The center of the hill country also called the “Hill station” in British colonial jargon. This ruggedly picturesque location almost 6200 feet in elevation with it’s soft English spring climate is very English in it’s landscape & buildings; which of course was started by the British, who made it their hill resort, during their rule in Sri Lanka.”
Visit a strawberry farm, go on a boat ride, visit the city and relax at hotel.
Proceed to Ella by train. The most scenic train ride in Sri Lanka which you should not miss. Passing through tunnels, valleys, waterfalls and many more beautiful sceneries on route.
Visit the 9 Arch bridge, Little Adams peak leisurely and plenty of hikes if you would like to explore.
After breakfast leave for Yala. Optional Lunch at Tissamaharama. After lunch visit Yala national park in Jeeps. Yala National Park: The most popular national park in Sri Lanka. Established in 1938 with a land area of approx 121000 ha. This park is situated in the Hambantota and Monaragala district. It is home for almost all the animals and birds that are found in Sri Lanka.
After breakfast leave to Mirissa. Relax on beach.
Go on a Whale watching & Dolphin watching tour at 6.00am. (Life Jackets+ Breakfast+ Coffee+ Juice+ Wash room facilities, 2 deck large vessel will be provided).

After breakfast depart for Galle. Visit the Galle fort and popular tourist attractions. Optional lunch at Galle or similar. “The earliest recorded history of the city dates back to the year 545 AD, to the chronicles of the Roman historian, Cosmas. From then on records are very sparse – until the landing of the famous Arab navigator Ibn Batuta. Over the next 100 years, the city was the chief port of the island, for it attracted spice traders. The Portuguese came to Galle in 1505, followed by the Dutch in 1640. When Colombo fell to the British in 1796, the fort was handed over & used as an administrative center, a function which it performs to this day”.

Day leisure at the Beach Resort.
